Bio

Sarah graduated from the Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy in 2019 and is very excited to be a part of this growing field. Sarah also possesses a teaching degree and several years of teaching experience. She is very happy to be in her new career of massage therapy as she can combine her teaching background with her therapeutic skills. She employs a variety of massage styles including Swedish techniques, myofascial release techniques, and trigger point work. Sarah thoroughly enjoys lymphatic drainage for those with edema. Sarah enjoys helping her patients find relaxation in their daily lives, and looks forward to helping them achieve their goals to feel their best!

Sarah is also a proud member of the Lakehead Alumni Association with the Orillia campus, getting to stay close to her original degree and giving back to the Lakehead community! Education has always been a huge part of Sarah’s life so continuing education courses is a big part of what she does when she’s not treating. Sarah has spent some times behind the scenes learning about other modalities such as cupping and aromatherapy. She’s still working on practicing and learning more about how to safely incorporate them into future treatments. Stay tuned!

In case that isn’t enough… when Sarah isn’t helping to heal her massage clients, she’s usually teaching Standard First Aid & CPR-C, making good use of the Education degree and years of working in the Aquatics field. For those last remaining hours of the week, Sarah loves winding down and spending time with her man and crazy Bernedoodle. In the summer she enjoys spending time in the garden and in the winter, sat at the kitchen table creating holiday treats for friends and loved ones.

Sarah can’t wait to help you on the road to a balanced life through her healing touch.
